See Salt River High School’s winter production of Hamlet at Hogwarts, as well as pieces created by first-semester art students on Thursday, Dec. 15. The art gallery will open at 6 p.m., and the play begins at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall. A small reception will follow. The production is free and open to the public.

The SRES principal said the new track provides a safer and more durable surface upon which students can run. It winds its way around the expanse of the existing field and measures a total of 1,128 linear feet. A little more than four-and-a-half (approximately 4.68) laps around the track equals 1 mile.
